Insights

An insight is a saved visualization - a chart, a data table, or a single-value card - built from a dataset by describing what you want in plain language. Save it, organize it, share it with a team, or publish it as a public link. Every render is checked against the underlying data's access rules.

Generate from a prompt

Open a dataset in the Workspace, type a natural-language prompt - "revenue by region for the last four quarters" - and choose a view type:

• Chart - line, bar, column, area, pie, or spline (see Charts).
• Data table - the rows, formatted and sortable.
• Card - a single headline number.

Colrows generates the view from the dataset. From there you can refine it, and undo or redo your edits.

Save, organize, share

• Save a chart, table, or card as an insight.
• Browse "my insights" and "shared with me."
• Share with specific users or groups, or publish a public link that renders on a standalone page.
• Filter interactively - pick values to slice a saved view.

Insights are the building blocks of dashboards: a dashboard is a layout of insights over one or more datasets.
